In our experience, the more you know about taking care of you and your family’s teeth, the healthier you’ll be! Below, you’ll find answers to some of our most popular FAQs, but you’re always welcome to give us a call if you’re curious about something we haven’t covered here.
Can I bring my children to West Hartford Dental Group?
Yes! Your entire family is welcome at our dental office. Our team has experience treating growing smiles of all ages, so whether your child is just starting to get their baby teeth or their wisdom teeth are about to come in, they’ll always have a place here. We’ll treat them just like they are one of our own while we provide completely personalized care designed to protect their developing smile.
What is the best way to replace my missing teeth?
At West Hartford Dental Group offers different treatment options for replacing missing teeth. Removable partial dentures, fixed partial dentures, dental implants. No treatment is standard for individual person. The treatment options vary depending on the clinical scenarios presented. We have all options available and provide you with your custom treatment plan to bring back function and esthetics.
What is the best way to whiten my teeth?
While you’ll find plenty of treatments at the store, by far, the most reliable and safe way to dramatically brighten your smile is with professional teeth whitening provided by a dentist. The products we use are much stronger than anything you can buy on your own, and we know how to use them in a way that won’t damage your enamel or make your teeth more sensitive. In most cases, we can brighten your teeth to a way lighter and satisfactory shade in just one visit.
I have a gap between my front teeth. How can I get rid of it?
We actually have two treatments that can take care of this common flaw: direct bonding and porcelain veneers. Bonding consists of applying a resin to the teeth to close the gap, while veneers involve placing thin restorations over the front of the teeth. Both are able to deliver beautiful, natural-looking results that can be trusted to last for long. Which one would be best for you? Give us a call to find out.
Will you accept my dental insurance?
Yes, we accept and are happy to work with ALL PPO dental insurance plans. We’ll even file your claim for you to ensure you’re getting the most out of your benefits! We can tell you more about how we can use your particular plan if you give us a call.
I don’t have dental insurance. Do you have any patient specials?
Yes, we have a number of specials for patients without insurance, and we also offer our own In-Office Discount Dental Plan. With it, one low fee completely covers your basic dental care for the year and gives you instant access to a wide variety of other discounts. It’s one of the most affordable ways to help you save every time you go to the dentist. To learn more about how to sign up, click here.
